The easiest way to evaluate players is with player OVR (overall rating). This is compiled from a player’s individual Attributes, and the formula changes with each different position.
Pro Tip: Watch your team OVRs improve as you add better players. There are three OVRs for your team: Offense, Defense, and Special Team.
CHECK PLAYER ATTRIBUTES
To find out more about a player, touch that Item in your Lineup to open the Swap Player screen. That item’s Player Attributes are displayed, and replacement players are listed below for comparison.
Pro Tip: Target important Attributes like Speed, Catch, Trucking, Man/Zone Coverage, and Play Recognition.
IDENTIFY YOUR NEEDS
Once you identify your team's needs, go to Live Auctions in the Marketplace and browse available players. You may find a bargain that you hadn’t expected.
Pro Tip: You can also Quicksell or Auction your unused Items from this screen with the Sell button to get more Coins.
FIND THE BEST PRICE
Customize your search to search only Items that fill your current need. You can specify a range of OVR Ratings, or set minimums and maximums for Bid Price and Buy Now Price.
Pro Tip: If you're selling an Item in Live Auctions, use this search to help determine the correct asking price for that Item.
STAKE YOUR CLAIM
The new Item’s Player Attributes are compared to your current player with green improvements and red reductions. Place a bid or choose Buy Now to avoid a bidding war and add the player right away.
Pro Tip: Return to Manage Lineup when the auction completes, and use Best Lineup to automatically upgrade your team.
